Education: Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1985

BIO: Originally from the Stockton, Sacramento area of northern California, Mark Pacheco won, or placed high in a number of bodybuilding contests in the 1980’s.

After getting his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1985, and realizing that he could never again enjoy the thrill of competition again without enhancements, Mark decided to quit training heavy all together.

After a long hiatus from competition, Mark started training hard again and returned to the stage in 2010, winning and placing high in many natural competitions.

Mark owns Strength & Health Gym in Bakersfield, California, which he describes as a vintage, retro, gritty, serious ‘golden age’ kind of gym.

Strength & Health Gym will be promoting the first annual NGA Natural ‘Mr. & Ms. Western America’ bodybuilding, figure, physique & bikini championships in Bakersfield, California, Saturday, August 2, 2014.
