BIO: I was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Growing up, I was involved in gymnastics, mixed martial arts, and nordic skiing. At 15, I ran my first half marathon, and now I am an 8 time half marathon finisher. In the fall of 2012, I began my undergraduate studies at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Not knowing a single person and hoping to get involved in athletics, I decided to try out for the co-ed competitive varsity cheerleading team, which ended up being my family and my pride and joy throughout the majority of my university career. It was through cheerleading that I was introduced to weight lifting, and immediately I became addicted. I started to train seriously, and became fascinated with how I could manipulate my diet and workouts in order to achieve the physique I desired. Fitness became a lifestyle, and even while studying abroad in Sweden in the spring of 2015, I remained dedicated to my workouts and diet while traveling across Europe. I am proud to say I have lifted in gyms across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Greek Islands and Barcelona! When I returned from Europe, people began to ask me if I'm a bodybuilder or what I'm training for, which made me think that perhaps I could be. In October of 2015, I hired a trainer, competed in my first figure competition in April of 2016, and the rest is history! I graduated from university in the spring of 2016, and as a true Minnesota girl, have returned to my roots and currently reside in Duluth, MN.
