BIO: In 2000, I was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes. I went on to have two beautiful children and pursued a career in fitness after a short run of working in finance. I celebrated 26 years of marriage with my amazing husband and my best friend May 2022. I am passionate about diabetes advocacy and fighting for affordable and accessible insulin. I turned 40 in 2014 and had a huge goal to compete in bodybuilding as a bucket list item. It resulted in a contagious desire as I love fitness and connecting with others who share the same passion. My husband and I started beekeeping as a cherished memory of my grandpa. I enjoy the feeling of freedom riding my motorcycle on back road trips are beautiful! God is good all the time and I am thankful for his blessings! I am very excited to join the NGA family and continue encouraging and supporting others to reach their full potential on the NGA competition stage!
