BIO: Life sometime takes you in directions you never thought you would go. Competing professionally in natural bodybuilding is something I never imagined myself doing.

After raising two daughters and working really hard most of my life, I decided this past year that I needed to do something just for me. Like so many women who have raised kids (husbands / boyfriends) I lost myself in the day to day life of being a mom/worker/everything to everyone else. When I started on this journey I was training to do The Spartan Run but I got injured early into my training and that was that.

I was so disappointed when it happened because I was very excited to have a new life goal. So my trainers Jessica and Doug Gibson encouraged me to try competing in natural bodybuilding. I had seen one show before and remembered being very inspired by one of my best friends who I watched compete. I am so glad I gave it a try!

It's an amazing sport because not only do you build your body, you build your mind too. You also make great friends along the way. I am part of a team that competes together named Team Iron Revolution Sports Performance. They've become like family to me. I hope to inspire women to rediscover themselves and learn that it's never to late to change and you're never to old to try something new.
