BIO: Since I was a young child I have been involved in a variety of activites. I had a lot of health issues from the time I was born. My Mom had me start with swimming at 9 months old. Then once I was able to walk my Mom and doctor had me start gymnatics and continue with swimming. Through the years I played tennis, volleyball, and cheerleading. I started lifting weights when I was 16. My friend Brian used to have me go in the 'free weight room' at Bally Total Fitness in Clearwater, FL. It was so much fun. It became one of my favorite things to do. I've lifted weights off and on since.
I heard about bikini competions in 2014. I started to train to compete at the time, but my body just wouldn't get lean enough. So I got discouraged and focused more on running and triathlons. Then in 2023 I changed my nutrition and was able to finally lose over 20 pounds that I had been stuck with for years. So finally September 2024 I did my first competition at the NGA All-Natural Tricky Jackson Championships. It was so exciting! Next I won my first NGA PRO Card in Figure - Masters at the NGA Bluegrass. That qualified me to do the 2024 NGA PRO/AM Universe. I decided that I needed to do it. I was going to only do the PRO divison, but I still wanted to try for the NGA PRO Card in Bikini - Open. So I entered the amateur division.To my surprise I won my NGA PRO Card in Bikini - Open that day too! I was beyond excited when I won! Now I am hooked! I am just getting started and plan to keep going and improving as I go. It takes time, but you just have to keep trying and adjusting as you go.
